BMX racing is coming back to Lemoore

LEMOORE, Calif. (KFSN) -- Construction is underway on a BMX racing track in Lemoore. The course is slowly coming together thanks to members from Framework Racing. The non-profit worked with the city of Lemoore to lease the land next to Lemoore Speedway, so they could build a track for their kids and the community. Lemoore used to have a facility years ago, but now they need the public's help to build this new facility.

Michelle Weisser with Framework Racing said, "We want to finish up that fence before we start building any jumps, just to secure the property. Hands are always good (laughs) any hands that can come out and build a fence."

The group says they'll be out at the facility Sunday morning at 9am for their work day. They hope others join their efforts.
