FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Derek Carr officially joined the Raiders after signing his rookie contract Wednesday. Carr was selected in the second round with the 36th overall pick in the NFL Draft.
Head Coach Dennis Allen said last week, Carr will be Matt Schaub's back up heading into training camp.
Fresno State's all-time leading passer's deal with the Silver and Black is worth $5.37 million over the next four years. He's the fifth Raiders rookie to sign their contracts after being drafted.
