Eric O'Flaherty back with A's

DETROIT -- The Oakland Athletics have reinstated reliever Eric O'Flaherty from the disabled list and optioned reliever Angel Castro to Triple-A Sacramento.

O'Flaherty has been dealing with a strained left shoulder. The left-hander has made eight appearances for the A's this season.

Castro has appeared in four games for Oakland this year. He made his major league debut last month.

The moves were announced Tuesday.
