Fresno Fuego will kick off their season this weekend

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- This season has been dedicated to Central California LLS Boy of the Year, Christopher Cazares. Soccer has been a passion of his, while battling leukemia. Christopher will join the team for the pre game tactical locker room discussion.

The Fresno Fuego and Clovis Junior Soccer League will make a donation to Central California LLS on behalf of Woman of the Year campaign through Brenda Lavell. There will be a autographed jersey presentation to Christopher and his twin brother Alex, his youth team and him will lead the teams into the field, and he will do the ceremonial first kick to start our season. Clovis Junior Soccer League is providing a general admission ticket to all of its registered players and coaches to participate in the recognition.

The 2015 Fresno Fuego season opener is this Saturday, May 2

Fresno Fuego vs Golden State Misioneros.

Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.

Youth tickets start at $5, adult tickets start at $7.
