Grizzlies win, fans get championship rings

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The first place Fresno Grizzlies treated a big crowd to a win Saturday night at Chukchansi Park.

Also made special because of the "Where Champions are Grown" ring giveaway proudly sponsored by ABC30.

And that's why fans saw Action News Meteorologist Shelby Latino up way past her bedtime to throw out the first pitch.

As for the action on the field, Matt Duffy gave the home crowd something to cheer about early. His eighth home run of the season was of the two-run variety. It opened the scoring, and would propel the Grizzlies to the 7-2.
