The Fresno Grizzlies baseball season kicks off April 9th. The pre-game fun begins at 4:00 p.m. with a free H Street festival that features a performance by Fresno indie-rockers Strange Vine, golden stick wiffle baseball league games, free pony rides, a bounce house, an interactive skills course from Knights of the Shield Oakland Raiders Booster Club, and music by DJ Kay Rich and DJ Juice. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. to allow fans to catch the end of batting practice. First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. and pits the Grizzlies against the Las Vegas 51s, AAA affiliate of the New York Mets.
