Broken fire hydrant in Southeast Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno Fire Department is responding to a broken fire hydrant near Jensen and East in Southeast Fresno.

The hydrant was sheared off at around 4:47 a.m. Wednesday morning behind a Carl's Jr.

Fire officials are working to shut off the hydrant and there is a lot of water in the area of Jensen near the Highway 99 on-ramp.

Drivers may want to avoid area.
