Car crashes into hydrant near Fresno City College sending water shooting into the air

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Crews are cleaning up in Central Fresno after a fire hydrant gushed water all over the roadways-- just across the street from Fresno City College.

Authorities said a car crashed into the hydrant just before 6:30 Thursday morning. That's when water shot into the air at the busy intersection on McKinley and College.

Emergency crews quickly worked to get the water shut off.
