Fresno County road reopens after crash involving propane truck
A crash involving a propane truck shut down a busy street in Fresno County for hours on Saturday.

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A crash involving a propane truck shut down a busy street in Fresno County for hours on Saturday. Viewers sent in photos from the scene showing the truck on its side near Parlier just before 7 a.m. It was carrying 3,000 gallons of liquid propane at the time.

Authorities say the driver was heading west on Manning Avenue when a woman driving north on Bethel Avenue violated the right of way and hit the back of the truck with her car, knocking it over. Fortunately, the propane did not leak, and no one was seriously injured.

The roadway finally reopened just before noon.
