Higher ticket prices expected for holiday season

SAN FRANCISCO -- If you're planning to fly over the Thanksgiving or Christmas holidays, expect to pay more for your ticket.

According to Expedia.com, flights around the Thanksgiving weekend are up 17 percent from last year.

Flights for the Christmas holiday season have gone up two percent so far.

An estimated 21 million Americans are expected to fly from now through December.
