Hikers with permits can now climb Half Dome in Yosemite

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Saturday kicks off the regular season for Half Dome. Climbing the massive rock is one of the most challenging hikes in Yosemite.

Permits for the regular season were available through a lottery system during the month of March, but an extra 50 people per day will have the chance to score a permit through a two-day in-advance lottery.
