FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Sequoia Shuttle celebrated 10 years of transportation to the national park, Thursday in Visalia
The day marks the start of the 2016 season.
Shuttle service to the Sequoia National Park runs through early September, and for $15 each riders can purchase round trip tickets.
It's a partnership between the National Park Service and the city of Visalia.
People who have driven their personal cars into the park before often say they prefer the shuttle because it's a nice, relaxing option.
"They're the ones that tell us how great they love the shuttle because they get to spend time with their family they get to spend time just chatting and doing whatever they want and don't have to worry about driving on those windy roads," Visalia transit manager Monty Cox said.
