Thanksgiving travel forecast

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- AAA estimates nearly 47-million Americans will travel at least 50 miles from next Wednesday through Sunday. And they say gas is the cheapest it's been since 2008.

Airlines are expecting 65-thousand more passengers each day compared to last year. Prices are also down for those flying. According to the travel company, airline tickets are ten percent lower than last year for many of the top routes.

The CHP has signs up advising people that chains are required so if you're heading to Shaver Lake or Yosemite be prepared for some powder.
