James Grimaldi may be stuck inside his West Seneca, New York home, but he's using his drone to show just how much snow has fallen in his neighborhood.

Almost 5 feet of snow have fallen in West Seneca, outside of Buffalo in upstate New York. The area has been one of the hardest it by this week's lake effect snow.

Grimaldi's first video, shot Tuesday, shows several feet of snow piled up against his garage and as the drone takes flight, you can barely see down the street as everything is covered in blankets of white.

Follow-up videos posted to YouTube Wednesday show blue skies and signs that at least a few of Grimaldi's neighbors have tried to shovel their sidewalks and driveways. There are also broken tree limbs that appear to have collapsed under the weight of the snow.

Upstate New York is expected to see more snow Wednesday night and a lake effect snow warning is once again in place for the Buffalo area.
