Merced County officials providing residents with sandbags

MERCED, Calif. (KFSN) -- Merced County officials are helping residents prepare for the coming storm.

Sandbags will be made available in the following cities: Atwater, Dos Palos, Livingston, Gustine, Los Banos and Merced.

The locations will be open 24 hours, seven days a week. Be sure to bring a shovel.

Other locations may be opened on an "as need" basis.
