Nevada flash flood captured on video

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Cellphone video captured a flash flood rushing through the small town of Fish Springs, Nev.

A man named John T. Humphrey posted the video on his YouTube page on Sunday.

The area received about an inch and three quarters of rain in just 30 minutes, triggering the flash floods. People living in the area also had to deal with power outages, lightning strikes and damaged roadways filled with debris.

The thunderstorms moved faster on Monday, decreasing the threat of flash flooding.
