FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Chawanakee Unified School District officials canceled Tuesday classes at all its schools due to the poor air quality.

There are six wildfires burning across the Valley, causing unhealthy air conditions in the area and particularly to Sierra Foothill communities.

School Closures:

North Fork Elementary

Spring Valley Elementary

Minarets High School

Minarets Charter High School

Yosemite High School

Campbell High School

Evergreen High School

John Muir North High School

Oakhurst Elementary School

Oak Creek Intermediate School

Wasuma Elementary School

All outdoor games and events have been canceled.

Minarets High volleyball games will still be played as scheduled.
