Fire destroys abandoned apartment building in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The cause of an apartment fire in Central Fresno that broke out overnight is under investigation.

The vacant, four unit complex at Bond Street and Clay Avenue is a complete loss. Fire crews were able to keep the blaze from spreading to nearby homes.

No one was injured. Investigators believe the fire may have been started by someone who was staying inside the boarded up building illegally.
