Motorcyclist dies after crashing at Highway 180/41 interchange
Authorities said they received a call of a motorcyclist driving recklessly and over 100 miles per hour along the highway around 6 p.m.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A motorcyclist died Sunday night after crashing into a guardrail at the Highway 180 and Highway 41 interchange in Fresno, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Authorities said they received a call of a motorcyclist driving recklessly and over 100 miles per hour along the highway around 6 p.m. When officers arrived, they found the driver had crashed.

The identity of the motorcyclist has not been released.

The highway connector was shut down while officers investigated how the crash happened, but the roads have been reopened.
