VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) -- Seventeen people are without a home after flames ripped through a triplex in Visalia.

The flames broke out at the complex near East Douglas Avenue and North Stover Street.

All residents were able to safely exit the structure and there were no injuries.

Crews say the cause of the fire was food left on the stove.
