2 people killed in fiery car crash near Porterville

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Two people died in a fiery crash in the South Valley.

CHP investigators say a black Honda headed westbound on Avenue 196 near Porterville veered off the roadway and slammed into a concrete bridge barrier just after 1 a.m. Saturday morning.

The car spun out and caught fire. Two people inside the Honda died.

Officers haven't determined a cause for this crash.
