Sheriff confirms cause of Pier Fire: Stolen car set on fire
Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux confirms the Pier Fire started when someone set a stolen car on fire, and pushed it over the side of a cliff on Highway 190.

TULARE COUNTY (KFSN) -- According to Tulare County officials, voluntary evacuation orders for communities impacted by the Pier Fire will be lifted as of 10:00 a.m. Monday.

The communities impacted are Alpine Village, Camp Nelson, Cedar Slope, Doyle Springs, Mountain Aire, Rogers Camp, Pierpoint Springs, Sequoia Crest, and Wishon.

Officials also said Highway 190 will also be re-opened to all traffic.
