FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fight for Water 7 is the biggest boxing card in the history of the series.

For the main event on the top rank ESPN televised card.

Jose came out aggressive and strong landing body blows in the 1st round.

Freddie Roach in his corner did not have to do much coaching in this one.

It was over before you knew it. Ramirez the clear aggressor gets after Reed in the 2nd.

Knocking him down bringing the SMC to their feet.

Just a little later the ref steps in and that is it!

Ramirez defends his WBC Continental America's super lightweight title.

Next up a title shot.

Sports Director Tommy Tran tracked down Ramirez after the biggest win of his career.

Jose Ramirez said, "I got more comfortable 2nd round. I let my rhythm go and started landing combinations better. My speed was there, so I just wanted to use the one-two jab and using the angles and keeping myself away from his left hand. The body was there for my left hooks to the body."

Ramirez will now fight Amir Imam for World Title.
