FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno State Bulldogs are giving back to local families in need as part of their "Helping Hams" campaign.
Fresno State's is on its way to reaching their goal of collecting enough money to purchase and donate 250 hams. Thanks to the community's generosity, past campaigns have exceeded goals and raised money to donate 230 hams in 2016 and 218 hams in 2015.
The food drive kicked off earlier this week. The campaign will run through Dec. 4th to raise money to donate student-produced holiday hams to charitable organizations affiliated with Fresno State.
