Local organization encourages companies to get festive and decorate their storefronts

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Several downtown Fresno businesses owners are tapping into their inner 'Clark Griswold' for a holiday contest.

The Downtown Fresno Partnership organized the contest, encouraging companies to get festive and decorate their storefronts.

There are 15 participants, including Root, which set up tons of lights to illuminate their windows.

Other businesses put trees up, displayed pictures of Santa and of course, included tinsel.

The Jeffrey Scott Agency office has multiple trees on display inside their windows and throughout their lobby.

Their display also doubles as this month's art hop exhibition, benefitting storyland and Playland.

The top three winners win cash prizes.
