Pancackes and pajamas in Downtown Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Dozens of people in Downtown Fresno got into the holiday spirit Sunday with some breakfast.

They served pancakes in their pajamas at Common Space, which is a nonprofit incubator a couple blocks from City Hall.

With Christmas music playing, and holiday decorations all around, families rolled in to get their meals for a small donation that will help out less fortunate families in Fresno.

The founder of Common Space cooked up the pancakes himself as a way of reaching out to the Downtown Community.

Justin Kamimoto said, "We're really trying to find ways we can bring people together. And here in the part of Downtown where we're at, we don't really see a lot of events happening in this district, so we wanted I start them."

Santa Claus also came out to take part in the holiday fun, he was there to meet and take pictures with the kids.
