7th random shooting reported in Fresno County, authorities say
The Fresno County Sheriff's Office says there has been another random shooting southeast of Kerman.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The victims are grateful they lived to share their experience. The sudden shooting both shocked and scared them.

Sheriff's deputies are not saying the exact type of vehicle the suspect is driving.

The shooting marks the seventh since late November, stunned drivers have been fired upon from Highway 145 in Madera County to 15 miles south in Fresno County. Detectives say the timing of each attack has given deputies some valuable clues.

Tony Botti of the Fresno County Sheriff's Office said, "Seeing these shootings happen 6:30, 7 in the morning and then 4:30-5 in the afternoon, sounds like your typical work commute type schedule, so those are all the things we have to consider."

Monday afternoon Robert was on his way home from work and headed west on Jensen approaching Dickenson. Suddenly he heard something he knew was too loud to be a blown out tire.

Detectives have collected evidence at each crime scene. They are not sure the suspect is using the same gun, but they are getting concerned someone could be killed if the malicious shooter is not taken off the streets.

The victims are obviously concerned about revealing their identity and still shaken by what has happened.
