OAKHURST, Calif. (KFSN) -- Big changes are coming to Central California's only four-star restaurant.

The sale of Erna's Elderberry House and the estate by the Elderberry's was finalized last week.

Longtime owner Erna Kubin Clanin and her husband are retiring-- 33 years after founding the Oakhurst property.

Through the years, visitors around the world have visited the restaurant, known for its fine cuisine.

The sale also means new owners are taking over its luxury hotel: Chateau Du Sureau.

Its new owner is a hospitality entrepreneur- who owns two other restaurants and hotels.

Kubin's daughter, Renee Niecole Kubin will remain on board as the general manager of the entire estate, to keep her family's legacy going.
