Police search for suspects after Fresno County house-party ends in gunfire

Police are searching for at least one suspect after a house party ended in gunfire this morning near Avocado Lake.

Authorities say two people were shot and taken to the hospital.

Sheriff's deputies say the victims are both men in their twenties. One was hit in the chest, the other in the shoulder.

They are both expected to be okay.

Deputies say 4-500 people were at the house party by Piedra Road and at least 50 people were detained.

This incident is believed to be gang-related.
