More than 100 people stuck on ski lifts rescued in the French Alps

FRENCH ALPS (KFSN) -- 150 Skiers had to be rescued after a ski lift broke down at a resort in the French Alps Saturday.

Two helicopters were deployed to help the people who were stuck in a number of cable cars along the lift.

It took about two hours to rescue the skiers who were stuck about 100 feet off the ground.

Nobody was injured in the incident.
