Calwa Park hosts Bizarre Art Festival

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A colorful explosion of painting can be found in Southeast Fresno.

The fifth year of the Bizare Art Fest began Saturday morning at Calwa Park. People of all ages were invited to the park to attend the annual art celebration.

More than 80 murals were designed for the event. This is the only location in Northern California that provides a legal platform for displaying graffiti art.

Event organizers say Bizare Art Fest gives artists from California and other states the platform to display their creative talents.
