Big rig fire on southbound Highway 99 causes tremendous traffic backup

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A big rig fire on southbound Highway 99 at Avenue 9 is caused a tremendous traffic backup Monday afternoon.

Caltrans says traffic backed up at least three miles due to the closure of the number one lane for the big rig fire.

Caltrans said to expect significant delays if you are traveling through the area.
