Car flips and hits tree in Southeast Fresno
Police are on the scene of a crash involving a car that flipped and hit a tree in Southeast Fresno.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- An investigation is underway after a fatal, early morning car crash in Southeast Fresno.

Police said the 72-year-old driver was headed northbound on Peach just south of Butler when he lost control of his car just before six Monday morning. He ended up hitting olive trees in the roadway median.

Police said the car flipped on its side. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
