West Hollywood City Council passes resolution to remove Trump Walk of Fame star

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The West Hollywood city council has voted to permanently remove President Trump's star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The resolution passed with a unanimous vote.

The vote comes less than two weeks after a man with a pick-ax turned the star into rubble before turning himself into police.

The president's star has been the target of vandals since the 2016 election.

President Trump has yet to respond to the vote.
