ATWATER, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Merced Union High School District is apologizing for a school video spoof that some don't find funny at all.

The video, which was posted on YouTube, ends with a school security officer pretending to shoot students with a toy gun. The students are from rival Atwater High School and they've supposedly sneaked onto the Buhach Colony campus.

The video also shows school administrators, including the principal, dressed in superhero costumes and pretending to kick and punch Atwater students.

The Merced Union High School District released the following statement:

"Merced Union High School district immediately addressed the release of the school rivalry video posted by Buhach Colony and had it removed from the media site. We apologize for the impact the video has had on the community and want to ensure everyone that the district does not support or endorse school violence. The issue is being addressed through the personnel office."
