Car crashes into Starbucks in central Fresno, driver arrested for DUI

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is in police custody after crashing into the patio of a Starbucks in Central Fresno.

It happened just after 12:30 a.m. on Monday morning at Tulare and First.

Police say the driver went up the curb to the patio, and hit a light pole in the street.

The suspect then took off on foot, but was caught near the scene moments later.

The suspect was arrested for driving under the influence.
