Firefighters at site of grass fire spreading towards buildings in southeast Fresno

Fresno firefighters are battling a grass fire that is raging in southeast Fresno.

14 firefighters have responded to the site on the west side of Highway 99 near Central Avenue.

Authorities say the fire is spreading south and threatening structures.

The fire was reported at about 5:45 p.m.
