FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A huge portion of the Kingsburg community came together on Friday to celebrate the life of a young woman killed last week in a car accident.

Megan Snyder's car collided head-on with a tractor trailer rig not far from Kingsburg High School. The 16-year-old was reportedly on her way home from track practice.

On Friday night, a close-knit community of faith gathered to celebrate Megan's life -- a life many described as one of loving God and loving others.

Kingsburg's baseball team canceled its game against Immanuel High School on Friday and rescheduled for Saturday. Also, the school's Sadie Hawkins dance was rescheduled for next month in order that the school community could attend the memorial.
