FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Some disturbing images out of Yosemite shows how much the drought is impacting higher elevations.

The Yosemite Conservancy posted images of half dome taken by its webcam -- showing the progression from 2011 through 2015. All five pictures were taken the third week of March. As you can see, the snow just disappears as the years go by.

Earlier this month, state official reported the Sierra Nevada snowpack is just five percent of its normal depth.
