Woman shot in southeast Fresno

A woman was shot in southeast Fresno while standing with a group on Thanksgiving.

Authorities say shots were fired in the area of McKenzie Avenue and Jackson around 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

The woman was hit in the torso and was immediately taken to CRMC.

Fresno Police officers say they do not know who fired the shots and are now investigating the incident.
