Woman rushed to hospital after hit-and-run in west Fresno Co.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno County Sheriff's were patrolling Interstate 5 near Derrick Avenue Friday night, and that's when they found a hit-and-run victim bleeding from her injuries.

The CHP says a woman was on the side of the road trying to change her car tire when a car zoomed by and hit her.

Emergency teams rushed her to the hospital with major injuries.
