Fresno police are investigating a homicide after a man was found dead in an alley in central Fresno.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno police are searching for a vehicle possibly connected to the murder of a 36-year-old man that occurred on May 7.

The vehicle was seen in the area of Diana and White during the time Richard Molina, Jr. was shot and killed inside his car in an alley in central Fresno.

Neighbors told Action News they found Molina, Jr.'s body later that morning, but said they never heard anything suspicious in the area.

Sheriff's investigators believe the people inside the vehicle may have information about the homicide investigation and ask the public to help locate the car.

Detectives say Richard Molina, Jr. was a father of five.

Officials say the vehicle appears to be a mid-2000 Dodge Durango.
