Drunk driver arrested for crashing into backyard of Madera home

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Madera Police arrested a drunk driver who slammed into a backyard overnight.

Officers say a family living at Noreen and Ashlan was celebrating a birthday in their backyard when suddenly, a car broke through their fence and entered the yard.

Police arrived and arrested Alejandro Ortiz and found he had been driving four times above the legal blood-alcohol limit.
