27-year-old woman arrested for stabbing 40-year-old woman in Hanford, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A 27-year-old woman is in custody after she allegedly stabbed another woman during a fight in Hanford on Friday.

Police arrested Yanet Zavala for stabbing a 40-year-old woman during a fight near Miller Street and 10th Avenue.

The woman is expected to survive her injuries.

Zavala is facing assault with deadly weapon charges.
