FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A former Fresno police officer changed his plea to rape charges from 2010. William Wyatt pleaded no contest to raping a female police officer from a different department.

The officer said she went drinking with Wyatt and two of his friends. But didn't remember what happened after. She says she learned she was raped when she received photos of her and Wyatt having sex months later.

The nine year veteran pleaded not guilty to the charges in 2012. Claiming it was a mischaracterization of a consensual encounter. Wyatt will be back in court in July for sentencing.
