FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Merced pediatrician facing child molestation charges is now a fugitive. Doctor Carlos Teran Miranda posted a $475,000 bail bond on Friday - and prosecutors say he failed to appear in court Tuesday. A judge has now issued a $3 million warrant for his arrest.

Teran Miranda is accused of molesting three autistic children during an exam at Golden Valley Health Centers last fall. Their adoptive mother came forward after he was arrested on child pornography charges in February. In that case, authorities say the doctor recorded several children and adults using the restroom by hiding a camera in a flower arrangement in the pediatric unit.

Anyone who has information about Teran Miranda's whereabouts is asked to call Merced police.
