Juvenile critical after shooting in Selma

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities are investigating a shooting in Selma that left a male juvenile injured. It happened around 8 a.m. Saturday near Nebraska and Thompson avenues.

Selma police say they responded to the scene and found the juvenile with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center in Downtown Fresno, where he was last listed in critical condition. Based on his age, the victim's identity is not being released.

Investigators believe the suspect or suspects shot at the victim from a vehicle and drove away. There is no word yet on a motive.
