FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Thousands of women will fill Downtown Fresno for a day of personal and professional growth.

Vendors have been setting up as they get ready for thousands of women that will be attending this year's Central California Women's Conference. This year's speaker is Emmy award-winning broadcaster Leeza Gibbons. On top of her work on television, Gibbons has become one of the leading advocates for "Family Care-Givers."

The annual Central California Women's Conference has become a tradition for many. The women filled the Saroyan Theater ready to be inspired. Every speaker had their own message for the attendees that ranged from finances to assertiveness and stress.

Inside Valdez Hall, many women visited booths and local businesses. For the attendees, these speakers and the camaraderie of other ladies helped them to realize the powerful role they can play in their lives and their communities.

Last year's women's conference was sold out. More than 3,500 women from across the Valley left with a message of empowerment. His year's theme is Ignite.
