The Tulare County Sheriff's Department launched a new website today designed to help residents keep closer tabs on sex offenders.Sheriff's deputies say Tulare County's new offender watch program is an easier, more comprehensive version of the Megan's Law database.

It shows where registered sex offenders are living in relation to a specific address, as well as schools and parks.

The program also sends e-mail alerts notifying residents when a sex offender has moved into their neighborhood.
