New Years Day Poem

It's New Year's Day and we're feeling great.

The parties are over, so what's next on our plate? Our January resolve is to keep fit and trim by eating right and going to the gym.

At our markets, there's summery fresh fruit from Chile – we won't have to miss out on our all-important 5-a-day! We'll kick off February with goodies for the game then, with Valentine's Day chocolate, straight to their hearts we will aim.

In March in Chicago, you'll find me at the St. Patty's Day Parade. After that, lighter recipes for spring I will trade.

And don't miss a tasty April Fool's surprise – something fun to eat – they won't believe their eyes! For May, Mother's Day – what to make her for brunch?

No worry, we'll have Mom thanking you a bunch! In June, its Dad's turn – we'll show the latest toys for his grill.

July Fourth fireworks for your backyard bash will always thrill.

The "dog days of August" lead to new lunchbox fare for back to school. And no-fuss Labor Day entertaining ideas in September, so we can keep our cool.

October means pumpkins to carve and decorate – we've got tricks and treats to make your Halloween great!

We're thankful November gives us reason to gather the gang 'round the table – and there'll be hints for our bird so you'll be able…to "ready" for Santa and ring in the new year, as we should, to look forward again to a year of even more "OOH IT'S SO GOOD!!®"
